Vogue Patterns Fall 2011

Vogue Patterns new Fall 2011 pattern magazine arrived! This is the type of thing that makes for excitement. There are several really nice patterns for fall. My eye was immediately drawn to several. I am most interested in Donna Karan V1263,  a shawl collar jacket with an interesting flared back. The recommended fabric is wool boucle. It appears to be unlined.

I want more suits, but not conservative suits. Anne Klein V1264 addresses the need.  It is a bit artsy yet with a nice fit. Always in search of nice blouses, Rebecca Taylor V1251 is an attention getter in more ways than one. Vogue rates it as Average, done in crepe de chine. I see that as a challenge. Really? Oh well. On the other end of the spectrum is Very Easy Vogue blouse V8745. The Sandra Betzina coat, V1262 really would work more for spring in my climate. I definitely want the pattern in my collection.

This is the tip of the iceberg.
