Leopard Luv

One thing wonderful about sewing is that I can make as many animal prints as I can find fabric. Yes, I love a leopard print, cheetah, stylized animal, and on and on. I picked up this Jersey from Gorgeous Fabrics. It is a nice weighty piece, so it was destined to become something to wear in the fall and winter. I choose the longer sleeve version for that reason. This is Butterick, 5495.

I love the cut of the front. The draping hides a multitude of sins. I made no particular pattern adjustments, although I would have gotten a little better fit in the back, had I done a back waist adjustment. All in all, very happy.

The September Table, more work on the red quilt, pants to go with the top and a little Cynthia Rowley vest.
